a reader of mine {reader? follower? follower sounds like i have a cult or something. we'll stick with reader} contacted me to tell me that she had nominated me for a MAD Blog Award, in the category for Best New Blog. i was so touched and it quite frankly made my day {thank you - you know who you are!}.
so.... you know, if you're bored one day and have a spare two minutes.... or maybe you like voting for stuff and have a voting shaped hole in your life now that x-factor, strictly come dancing and the likes aren't on tv....and you quite like my blog....well... i was thinking you might not mind nominating me? {there. i said it.}
the four blogs in each category which get the most nominations get short listed and there are prizes and everything. i have already nominated blogs that i love which i follow {just saying so you don't think this is a one way street or anything}. turns out nominations close on 18th february which is quite soon. you see that very bright button there on the right underneath the archive? yeah the really colourful one. it's got a link to the website where you can vote {voting is free by the way}. but only if you want to. no pressure.
